Today was a special day for the Redcliffe Cyclones. Two of our life members Barry Stevenson (life member # 29) and Greg Devine (#25) were presented with their life member shirts. The shirts were presented to Barry and Greg by this weeks Under 15 Devine captain Charlie and club president Neal Smith at Filmer Park before play got underway. Both Barry and Greg are long time and active champions of junior cricket at Redcliffe.
In addition to our two life member shirt presentations, Cyclones Under 15 Devine player Lewis was presented with his baggy blue cap by Greg who the team is named after. Having their baggy blue presented by a life member is a new tradition to the Cyclones but is important as it links our current players with the history associated with our club. The baggy blue represents the transition to being a senior member of the Redcliffe City Junior Cricket Club and the values the club upholds.
