Notice of Annual General Meeting.
In accordance with our constitution notice is now given for our Annual General Meeting 6pm 11/July/2024 Clubhouse, Filmer Park.
And as such all-committee positions will be declared vacant and a new committee will be voted in.
Section 13.1.5 states:
“Nominations for the Cyclones Committee must be done using the relevant Cyclones form and can only be nominated and seconded by existing committee members, nominations must be presented to the President and Secretary prior to the meeting starting.”
As previously stated, the simple reality is we need people to step up and take on a number of roles. We can not proceed with the upcoming summer season without these roles being filled. Without people in all these roles the club will not be able to function, and we will have to cut back or not continue with certain programs.
Over the past few years we have worked incredibly hard to put systems in place to make things significantly easier for those taking over.
President – Happy for someone to step up and take the reins.
At a minimum I would strongly advise someone step up to the Vice President role, so they can shadow me and learn the ropes with the view to taking over next year.

Sponsorship and Fundraising team
Coaches and team managers - Please be advised, if I am in charge next season, we will not be submitting a team without a coach and manager that commit to the entire season.
General volunteers - these can be one off jobs for the whole season - eg: organising club photos, trophies etc
Note, some of the above positions are filled and I hope they stay on but just to give you all a small idea of some of the positions that it takes to run this club.
