Blasters Presentation Night 2023-24

Blasters 2023-24 Medals

What an amazing season we had for Blasters 2023-2024.

It had lots of challenges from strong winds (picking up tables and the centre-pitch covers), lots of rain and very hot afternoons but our Blasters were resilient through it all.

Our Blasters had some amazing opportunities as well. We got to have a few of them on-field at the Women's T20 international at Alan Border oval and getting to play a Blasters match at lunch Day 4 of the test match at the Gabba.

A big thank you to:

  • Aaron and the whole Peninsula Cricket Club for allowing our Blasters to use the facilities at Filmer Park and maintaining it for us.

  • Our club president Neal for supporting our Blasters program.

  • The parents and families who helped out running Blasters. For example: umpires, scorers, tee-runners and Junior Blasters assistants.

  • The senior members of our club from the under13 and under 15 teams who volunteered their time to help the next generation of Cyclones.

  • Our exceptional Blasters from the 2023-2024 season who improved so much during the season and (I hope) had a lot of fun along the way.
