What an amazing season we had for Blasters 2023-2024.
It had lots of challenges from strong winds (picking up tables and the centre-pitch covers), lots of rain and very hot afternoons but our Blasters were resilient through it all.
Our Blasters had some amazing opportunities as well. We got to have a few of them on-field at the Women's T20 international at Alan Border oval and getting to play a Blasters match at lunch Day 4 of the test match at the Gabba.
A big thank you to:
Aaron and the whole Peninsula Cricket Club for allowing our Blasters to use the facilities at Filmer Park and maintaining it for us.
Our club president Neal for supporting our Blasters program.
The parents and families who helped out running Blasters. For example: umpires, scorers, tee-runners and Junior Blasters assistants.
The senior members of our club from the under13 and under 15 teams who volunteered their time to help the next generation of Cyclones.
Our exceptional Blasters from the 2023-2024 season who improved so much during the season and (I hope) had a lot of fun along the way.
